Environmental Assessment includes Contaminated Land Assessment, Groundwater Assessment, Salinity Assessment, Acid Sulfate Soil Assessment, and Surface Water Testing. The Environmental Department at CSTS has extensive knowledge of the regulatory requirements for contaminated land assessment and management. Contaminated Land Assessment
It is a component of the Development Application process which Council uses to work out whether a site is suitable for the proposed development from a contamination perspective, or if remediation is required.
Groundwater Assessment
It is often conducted during contaminated land assessment, as well as for ongoing monitoring of sites such as service stations.
Salinity Assessment
It is often conducted to determine whether the salt in the soil could have an impact on a proposed development, or when soil is being moved from one site to another.
Acid Sulfate Soil Assessment
it is often conducted as a component of Contaminated Land Assessment for the Development Application process, or for soil disposal.
Surface Water Testing
Testing can be conducted by CSTS for both field indicators and more detailed laboratory assessment as an independent assessment prior to discharge of water …
