Groundwater Assessment

Groundwater Assessment

Groundwater Assessment is often conducted during contaminated land assessment, as well as for ongoing monitoring of sites such as service stations. It involves the installation, development and sampling of groundwater monitoring wells to identify the presence and concentration of contaminants of concern, and the depth and flow of groundwater.

Groundwater monitoring

Groundwater monitoring plays an important part of identifying any pre-existing conditions of the groundwater that may impact on the development of new and or existing infrastructure and the success of any, or requirement of any, remediation work that may be required to avoid contamination of the groundwater.

Our Service

Compaction & Soil Testing Services Pty Ltd can provide both temporary and permanent monitoring wells for your property or site. Depending on your requirements we can procure the necessary materials, and have one of our licensed drillers install a monitoring well to suit your requirements. Upon request we can recover water samples, which are sent to an independent laboratory, providing added assurance that the results obtained are impartial. A report detailing relevant information regarding any site visit, monitoring well installation, sample results where applicable, come standard with each groundwater investigation or well installation. Our company will also provide the necessary detail for the Bore Completion form as required by the NSW Office of Water.
