The Site Investigation (SI) Drilling division of Compaction & Soil Testing Services (CSTS) Pty Ltd conducts geotechnical, environmental and shallow exploration drilling assignments for geotechnical & environmental consultants, groundwater, engineering and mining consultants, utilities, government authorities, contractors and infrastructure providers. Our Site Investigation drilling programmes are carried out in a diverse range of environments such as busy city centres, Mining & Exploration Leases, remote areas, industrial facilities, airports, major road and rail corridors. Our operations are conducted with safety and environmental protection as key priorities. Compaction & Soil Testing Services (CSTS) Pty Ltd offers the following SI drilling services:
- Solid flight augers – diameters available: 90mm + 350mm (pavement and investigations)
- Standard Penetration Test – standard ( split tube and solid core)
- Diamond coring (conventional NMLC and wireline HP3)
- Rotary Air Blasting (RAB) and Down Hole Hammer (DHH)
- Rotary mud drilling
- Vertical and angle holes
